The project The project’s goal is to facilitate the development of an intergenerational network of self-sustaining support among youth, parents and grandparents. The project has as its underpinning a respect for the skills and knowledge of participants as well as opportunities for parents/caregivers to learn from each other, sharing practices of parenting which are helpful and in line with their cultural values and practices. At the same time, it is an opportunity for the different generations to bridge the ‘cultural gap’ that have been identified as barriers to communication.
